Pet glow-up and memory videos

Pet timelines can be especially emotional because the change is often easy to see. A puppy or kitten photo, a young adult photo, and a current picture can become a compact video that captures years of growth and companionship.

People-and-pet videos work best when both subjects are visible and framed in a similar way across the photos. Try to keep the pet as the main focus, avoid very blurry images, and choose moments where the bond is clear.

These videos are well suited to birthday posts, adoption anniversaries, memorials, family albums, and social clips that celebrate how much a pet has changed while staying part of the same story.

For a simple pet glow-up, start with two photos: the earliest clear picture you have and a recent favourite. If you have more good images, add a middle stage to show the change more gradually.

Photos taken at eye level often work better than images where the pet is very small in the frame. Clear faces, full bodies, and similar poses give the final timeline a warmer and more recognisable result.

Use the same planning process described in our then-and-now video guide to keep a pet timeline clear and chronological.
